27/10/2021Working with local outreach & letting them know your praying
It’s been proven to be effective means of encouragement to let those your connected with know you are praying and standing with them. Particularly if you are not living in the same community, to communicate what your praying such as Psalm 91 which is a Psalm of protection or Psalm 23 which is a Psalm of peace. The encouragement will be like a fresh breeze on a long hot sunny day. With this wind of encouragement they are lifted. We encourage you to regularly pray and remember those in these places – “Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.” – Hebrews 13:3 NKJV Though this Scripture may be referring more to those in prison for their faith the principle still applies to remember those, God willing, in Myanmar as if you were chained to them. Then watch as God opens doors for you to be a dynamic channel of His encouragement. Lets have a look at some tools & methods for effective intercessory prayer (if you have some methods to share, sign up/in & comment).
News & praying over regions in Google Earth
I have found using a news forum like Myanmar Now useful where I can read about recent events, I must add here that we do not necessarily agree with everything reported on their platform but appears to be relatively unbias. I take the region where an event has taken place, copy that region name & paste it into Google Earth then pray with a visual aid of that region. This has been a powerful way of actively addressing conflict & hard to deal with situations to the glory of God!

People groups on Google Earth
The Joshua Project has a file link that I’ve shared below which maps all the people groups on Google Earth, you have to download the file then run on your phone or where it can open the Google Earth app. If you look at Myanmar it may be a little miss leading on how many unreached there are but one red dot can represent 31,000,000 people.
